@ cichild_fever, It would def be worth the drive to get them, but idk if they would survive the trip back to south jersey :(
Well the ride aint that bad i live here n used to work at Cape May NJ for two years travelling bus n train home, the fish would survive the ride i have a freind that bought a large female red terror fastae at 5" that was from Newark & he lives down in the cape 2 hr drive past my area, she made it n has breed!!!Last month i went to conneticut to meat up with a fella from NY for a 9" EBJD,under our first blizzard of the season the fish n us made it safelly home,he took longer then expected but the fish was in a tote an average of 10 hrs n he made it back alive n healthy..Its up to you in a month or so there gonna be all gone so.....

Hey guys hope i can help i ordered 10 Festae 2 weeks ago from a guy named dan in florida his website is www.cichlidsoftheamericas.com i actually had over 50 fish shipped and they were delivered over night in 6" of snow with a 100% survival rate. So i highly recommend him. this is what his website currently says about Festae: Cichlasoma Festae Coming Soon $35.00 3-5" Wild caught Festae being imported from Peru on March 7!

@ cichild_fever do you use a mobile bubbler or something like that, or would you recommend leaving them in the bag or large bucket, i am def. going to contact IRA about them, i just am curious the best way to house the fish during the drive back from NY?
