Festaes and Ph??

What is the absolutely lowest and absolutely highest ph festaes can be in without having any problems???

Grab some shells and break them up and add them in I would say go for it but it's not a hardy cichlid if you cant get shell just grab some ph up and pour the right amount let it cycle through then you should be good make sure you heat the shells if you use them I just run my stuff under very hot water witch is fine

Yes break them up but if you're going to your Lfs get ph up shells are just if you feel like being lazy I think dead coral may increase ph too but just get ph up but do what you like best

Yes your Ph is perfect, I wouldn't touch your Ph as it's very close to their natural ph..They can handle 6-8 and remember they are south American not African.
 
They have in this ph for about 4 months now...I know they are fine but just for the future wanted to know how low n high they could really handle and stay healthy...
