Thanks guys! I am becoming a pleco addict and it is awesome to be here with some other pleco collectors with tons of information.

I am going to ask my LFS if they can get a L183 for me.

I am also interested in the phantom pleco too, and they get those often.

So many plecos and so little room!

Which phantom? There are a few 'phantoms'. Of course my personal favorite is the L200 hifin.

yep L183's are def the way to go! i love my 6 little guys! and i finally found the food the love! they love zucchini in two days they can eat a whole peice and leave nothing behind!

They appear to be the L200. Green color and same build. Is there another phantom that is green and looks close to your avatar?

There are two different species of green phantom/L200; Hemiancistrus subviridis and Baryancistrus demantoides. There is also the blue phantom, L128, which is similar. Please look at this for the two L200 species:
