I dont use feeders anymore, i had a few gator gar die in the past from a bad batch on time. He is feed a wide variety of prepared foods. His color has actually faded alot since he was younger.
The same can be said for the terror. He was not feed anything out of the ordanairy, just loads of good quality pellets and lots of TLC
