Thanks for all the comments. i appreciate it. Over the years i've added pieces to this tank to get it to this point. Some of the rocks i've had for over 10 years.

i have noticed the black somtimes on my passiones,it seems to come and go.
i think mine are pairing off(not even sure if they are male and female)they are now gaurding a spot on the driftwood and will not let any other fish near it.
keeping my fingers crossed.

Hope you get a pair to spawn. That'll give me some hope.

Agreed! I was just killing a bit of time at the office and decided to look in the media section, tnaks and fish like this are why I'm hooked in here looking at pictures now
