Your JD killed the female matey with the whole divider ordeal. I'm left with one male from Liam and one male from dan now, who knows which way round though!

Well after showing some suspicious breeding behaviour with a big male JD, it turns out he's a she! I'm pretty sure I have another male kicking around somewhere too

Beautiful fish! I swear, there must be something wrong w/ me - I can never be 100% sure when venting - seems the lighter fish are even harder to vent.

Dead giveaway is her tube was half sticking out! but I usually just go by the o> male oO female... damnit I'll have to break this pair up now to try and bond her with the other la ceiba!!

I would say they are hybrids if I didn't know they came from cota...

There were only ever two pairs of P. "La Ceiba" in the hobby - one from Ken Davis and one from Rusty Wessel (collected in 2005, 2006 if I recall). Anyone know which pair COTA's came from?
