My tank is a standard 75 gallon (48 x 18 x 18 I think). Im going nuts buying things...lol....I decided to use Aragonite sand from Caribsea and Im going to put a few bags of crushed coral in the filters. I bought 2 fluval e series heaters instead of the marineland stealth heaters. I dont know what lighting to use. I dont want to spend a lot on lighting which of these 2 should I get........... No such thing as too much filtration. Down the road you might consider another! I really like the emperor 400 as it moves a lot of water, has two bio wheels and is very easy to change the filters. I may have missed it but we don't know the bottom dimentions of your tank which might change the amounts of substrate you utilize. I think the thickness of the sand is more important than the pounds.
I almost forgot....Just ordered some decals for my tank
