Canada eh!
So I have a faily large indoor pond (1300g) and the water changes are killing me. ROFL

I want to install a drip system.

1- My pond has a plywood wall with a pond liner. What's the best way to install a bulkhead in this situation? How did the guys who built plywood tank with pond liner do it? I tried doing a search to find the build tread of those tanks but couldn't find anything.

2- Can some direct me to the website that sells the canister to remove the chlorine from the water for the drip system?

Thanks. :)

Video of the pond for motivation. :D

I'd use a properly sized hole saw as a template and cut the liner with a razor knife then use the hole saw to cut through the ply. make sure the flange side is on the liner when you install the bulkhead.

Filter guys is probably the most popular place for sediment and carbon filters because they market to fish hobbyists.

You could run you drip into your filter box then just have a overflow on the box rather then messing around with the liner

Just run your drip line into your oase box, put in a overflow pipe (bulkhead) near the top of the oase box just above its water line, as your drip feeds into your filter box it will mix with old water, as the box fills once the water hits your over flow it will drain out so that it doesn't overflow your filter plus giving you a unmanned water change

I doubt it would work since the filter is gravity discharged and can flow over 3000gph. :)

But it's an excellent idea to feed the drip into the filter. :)

Water level in the filter doesn't change with increased water in the system unless it's a sump. The level changes in the main tank so that's where the overflow has to be located.

No harm no fault. :)

Anyway, I emailed the guys at thefilterguys.com and he recommanded a 190gpd setup. I'll look into it in a few weeks when I start the work on the new pond (500g).

I'll do a build tread when I start. :)
