Few questions about drip system install

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Yay for a new build thread!! I agree with the bulk head on the tank. I know some people have had issues with them leaking but if that becomes an issue for you just seal it up with some silicone. you shouldn't have any problems tho.

I think I'll use silicone right away when I install the bulkhead.

Now the question is which tyoe of silicone? :)

Also, I think I will be the first guy on MFK to do a build tread about downsizing his tank. ROFL

I don't know about drilling the outlet in the tank, but in my sump I drilled just below the waterline and use a pvc elbow (90 degree) to determine where the water level is. You can move the elbow to make it higher or lower. I usually keep it the same level now, but if I drilled where I thought it should be the first time I wouldn't be happy with it. I ended up making the water level higher than I initially thought so I was glad it was adjustable. Hope that makes sense.

Downsizing?!?! Nooooooooo. lol.

Downsizing?!?! Nooooooooo. lol.

My current pond takes up most of my basement. I didn't care at the time because the basement wasn't finished. But now that I want to finish the basement. I realize it takes a LOT of space.

I would like to build a gym where the current pond is.
