They have a flowerline before they fade but when they do it..... well, fades.
I just picked them up yesterday. I was trying to sell all my FH but of course I saw these two and bought them lol. They are pretty skinny and a little beat up, plus the male has eye issues. He's missing the one eye and I'm not even sure he can see out of the other. The two get along really well so I'm hesitant to try another female with him. These pictures were taken right after they got home. I'll try to get some better pictures of the female today. She is actually a dark green/blue color on most of her body.
Give them a bit and see if the color improves when they settle in. I like the male, he's not great, but he is nice and if his color improves that would be even better. The female, eh, but she might get better too with better care. My only concern and though for long term - you might find out in a month they hate eachother. After some good water and food, they'll perk up and feel better and start sparring.
Apparently they were a drop off. The guy that brought them in said that they had been together for a while. I have no idea how long a while is though and they are both pretty unhealthy right now. I'll get them in better health(and weight) and see how they turn out. The males colors are pretty neat, almost neon!
