yup some do get a slight bump on their heads
my JK female has a slight bump
and not all males have KOKs some don't get it at all

females gennerally have a smaller kok than males, and have a black spot on their dorasl fin. there tube will also be sticking out. your best bet is to get pics.

not all females have black spots on there dorsal The only real way is to vent or if you can see the fish's sex organ clarified thanks And I have def. seen a female with a kok Anyone ever seen to wong fu
