FH or Gold Trimac?

First post, hoping you guys can help me.

I'm looking for a new wet pet. I live near Lancaster PA, so i will be getting either one from That Fish Place.

Which are more aggressive?

Which of the two lives longer?

Is one easier to breed than the other?

In a 120 could i keep tank mates with one, or do the both need to be solitary in a tank that size? (4x2x2)

Any help would be appreciated.

Go for Trimac if your looking for something pure. You're in the crosses section so I say FH =)
FH has better characters in look and their personality varies. Yes there are ways you can put more than FHs in a 120 and with other fish. Which one lives longer? dunno...

Are you sure that the Golden Trimac is a true Trimac? Often, low-grade Flowerhorns are labeled as Golden Trimacs.

I've always heard good things about that fish place. I honestly wouldn't be able to tell the diff. Any pointers?

The best pointer I have is to just look at as many Trimac pictures that you can.

Good point. If Golden Trimacs are low grade FHs. I definately would say hell no, don't get a low grade FH.

Go with a flowerhorn. I'd be wary of anything labelled 'Golden trimac'. As previously stated, it sounds like a ploy to sell low grade fh.

i looked through some of the other threads before I went, and what they were calling "Golden Trimacs" looked like Faders.

I ended up going with a Pearl Flowerhorn, looks like a ZZ maybe. I will post pics later, I'm going to the store to get some flowerpots and some other stuff for the tank.

Ok here's the pics.

I gotta clean the tank and do a water change tonight.

The stuff floating around in some of the pics is either some bubbles or Tubifex worms I just fed the guys. When I get the tank clean and do the water chnage I'll do a full tank shot.
