internal parasite most definately. im not too sure about meds for the fish but wouldnt melafix or pimafix help?

Mela and Pima would be a waste on hex. Metro is my suggestion as well as salt and temp, mostly metro.

Bro a week of meds will usually not heal the fish. It sometimes takes a month or so to cure.....

well considering it already has been infected. i say be ready to part with it. unless you can heal it. sooner or later the fish is gonna curl thats is when it gets very sad.

since the last post, i stopped treatment and just changed the H20...left for vegas x1week and while i was gone my friend called me to tell me the fish is eating!

so i guess its cured...hoooorayyy! heheh...he's eating now and chases the female everytime the female tries to eat.
