FH Prolapsed anus and white poop

hi i just recued this FH, tank water is good, hes very active but not really eating, keep splitting out the pellets. poop has been normal but notice today there is long white poop, you can see from the 3rd photo, and the first and secnd photo is that Prolapsed anus ? i have since started putting metro into the tank. what should i do? am thinking of doing epsom salt dip for him.

That's normal imo, nothing to worry about as he hasn't eat anything yet. But more pic will help. especially with fh, their kok will tell you a lot about their health.

you mean the thing that poping out from the anus is normal? and not prolapsed anus? cause i try lots of pellets but he just not really eating. and there is 1 white poop. below are more photos of it.

Yes, his anus seem normal to me. And how long have you kept him? They tend to not eat for first couple days due to stress.

about 3 days. but for the white stringy poop, i'm currently dosing hexa cure, which is metro tablet. which i dose into the tank. should i do epsom dip as well?

I rather wait till he eat and if his poop still come out white then treat him. Just in my case. But if it help ease your mind then by all mean go for it.

Always recommend Metro on hand and treating at any level of concern

Otherwise a few days of not eating is pretty much par for the course...

i will just dose metro for few days first, and see if he start eating. cause today he has not poop yet, cause hes not eating.

ya the owner wanted to set him free into the sea. which i explained to him the FH wont survive. so i gave him usd150 and take it from him.
