Fiberglass tank

I've been looking at those fiber glass tanks with viewing windows from Pentair. Has anybody been using one? If so how do you like it and how long has it been in service? Here is a link for reference.

I bought my 405gal about 12 years ago when they were new in the hobby. I love it because it's strong yet, light enough to move easily. I paid $675 for it (delivered). Now, considering their current prices, I wish I'd bought 10 of them back then.

Wow 12 years and its still running strong, nothing wrong with it? Does the smaller viewing area bother you at all?

Not really. I don't keep bottom species in it so the window size doesn't amount to much of a hindrance.

Very nice. So you would recommend one then? How do you think it would hold up as a salt water tank?

I can't find tank like this here.... Look super easy to move.
+ price is a lot cheaper than glass build

Thats why i am looking at getting one lol, way cheaper!!! They will ship them. Free shipping, all there is a $70 crate charge per tank.

My wife and I are looking towards investing in another fiberglass tank. This next one is 4750 gallons and is 15 ft 6" across.

How long do you think your current fiberglass tank will last? Is that a dolphin fiberglass tank?

I've had a FG 900 run for 17 years. I sold it to a pet shop that used it as a main display tank. I have no idea if it's still running since then as I've since moved from that area. I would imagine they'd last a long time provided the tanks are set up perfectly level and don't get bumped into too often.
