I have 2 oscars in a 90 gallon in wall tank, no other fish, I tried a pleco and one of the oscars attacked, killed and ate the pleco, actually ate two of them. my question is these two oscars especially one of them is brutal to the other, they are not crowed, well fed, any idea how to get them to get along, they have been together for several months but the fighting is getting worse, one is about 6 inches the other 5 inches

I have heard of this before, most people will tell you its fine to keep two oscars, and I've even seen it myself but this one website and I can't remeber which said that if you keep oscars either keep just one or keep at the least six because you will always have a dominant fish picking on the smaller one(s) hope this kinda helps

I've kept 2 together with no issues at all, but my guess is that your's are trying to claim territory. How is the tank decorated?

several large rocks and thats about it plus of course gravel. the tank is drilled and runs to a sump, all heaters, etc are in the sump I like a clean look in the tank

I had one then got two had problems then got three and know i have five, how did that happen, any way if you got another the one that is bigger would just pick on both of the others equaly and make the ones life a little less stress full, I would get one more!!!!!

how big were your plecos when you introduced them?

you wanna try, some silver dollars, or leporinus fasciatus, FAST dithers, my O never catches em, re arrange your tank to, neutralise territory
