Fighting

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Which fish are you the most attached or fond of?

Dovii 20+ inches
Jaguar if its male can reach 16"
no to sure about the Blackbelts but i think they get to 14" from what i recall.

Those fish need a much bigger tank. No matter how many territories you make in that tank its not going to matter, they will seek out and kill or be killed.

Those fish couldn't turn around in a 55gal

Upgrade your tank get rid of the dovi and i think youll be ok but as they get bigger in a small tank there will be more fighting.

The first thing everyone is going to tell you is your tank is overstocked which it is but alot of the members here have overstocked tanks as well so just do your upgrade asap and take it from there

I would start by getting rid of the Dovi.
It would be a stretch to keep him by himself in a 150.

So would I. I have personally seen (and tried to buy) an every bit of 22" Male Dovi. a 150 would be small. I would also be worried about it crackin me in the back of the head after it came through the glass if i looked at it wrong, lol.

But as everyone else has said. Just get a bigger tank.

get a bigger tank and get rid of 2 bb and the dovi

Didnt know black belts were that aggressive. I will have to look into getting one once I get a bigger or more tanks.

And i agree that you may think youre getting a tank next week, but that could easily turn into months. Its happened to me twice now.

male jags can get well over 16inches

...... Umm I think whatever ones tryin to say is that's not even a good growout and the dovii couldn't be house with any of those fish and the others will need a pretty good size tank I'm going to guess about a 180 to be compatible and I'm not trying rude by the way

That appears to be an ebjd in there? You might want to save its life by getting it out asap!
