Figure 8 puffer

Hey everyone, i have a figure 8 puffer. I went to my LFS to get some peacock bass. My wife caught eye of the figure 8 puffer and had to have him. He told us that they are freshwater as they mature they want to move up to brackish water. Well aparently he should be in brackish water to begin with.

Can anyone help me out with what ill need to get a small brackish setup going please.

Marine salt and a hydrometer. You'll need to Bring up the salinity to about 1.006 for the puffer.

http://youtu.be/kAr5wu2_IwASorry figure 8 is the lighter side of brackish so maybe 1.004 would be better. I keep mine with green spotted puffer so it's a tad higher : ) They are doing quite well though. Check them out
