Figure 8'S?!!??!??!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I found lots of conflicting reports, ideas etc about the sailinty re the figure eights. However I know I didn't read anything like a ten year study. Would love to read it if you have a link for it?

Thanks

Sorry but the fellow is practically blind now & never wrote up the study but he is one of the top pufferkeepers in the field. Been keeping them for over 60 years. Here are some of his many articles: http://www.**************.com/forum/library/author/rtr/

So do I try to increase the salinity to what it was in the LFS, or do I just raise it from .005 to .008? They are both swimming around great and have eaten without any problems. Colors are bright and don't appear to be in any stress.

Pufferpunk has more experience with puffers then I do. (I believe that she is the head of the puffer forum) So if she says there is a study showing that 0.005 is the best and that it is a 10 year long study than I'm sure there is a study showing that to be true. I would leave them where you have them.

I really enjoy my guys, probably more than my cichlids truth be told.
They are curious, in to everything I'm doing , and in general a whole lot of fun.
