sorry i failed to mention that the figure eights, about a year from now will be going into a 55 and the GSP will be alone in the 29G

The GSP is fine in high-end BW. The main reason we suggest going full SW, is because you can change your filtration over to live rock & a protein skimmer, which really doe a great job of removing nitrate & requires less water changes. Otherwise, expect to be doing 50% weekly water changes.
IMO, 29g is a bit tight for a GSP. I'd rather see him in the 55g & the F8s in the 29g.
