Seeing how you get half the total amount of chromosomes from each parent which then combine and then are present in the offspring, I don't understand the 'dosage' either? Unless you meant when you factor in the other parent if it combines to make DD (just a random assigned letter here) you get early color change, where as if it's Dd it occurs later? in either sense though, you can't have "double dosages" from one parent though, and there is still the possibility that either parent has the recessive gene as well and that both could pass it making it dd... thats the best I can make sense out of this.

Lowcel, nice tank, nice video, how do you like that gg?

I wasn't saying that it is possible for them(the fry in question) to have a 'double dose', i.e. DD. The only possibility between a true barred devil(dd) and a early changing devil(DD) are late changing devils (Dd).

Definitely not how incomplete dominance works.

Yes, I definitely mistyped. It would be closer to codominant, but even that's not correct. Perhaps, 'delayed dominance' (not a real term).

Like fishguts said, I was unsuccessfully trying to say that 100% of the fry will be 'late changing devils', Dd. Sorry for all the confusion.
