Anyone seen this guy's videos on YouTube? They're terrible, to say the least. He's some Indonesian guy who has a 150 gallon saltwater tank. Well, let's walk through the history of his tank:

Started out with a blacktip reef shark, coral catshark, blue spotted ribbontail ray, clown triggerfish, undulated triggerfish, blue line triggerfish, emperor angelfish, blueface angelfish, regal angelfish, goldflake angelfish, red sea sailfin tang, foxface, porcupine puffer, and a tesselata moray. ALL in a 150 gallon tank. After this, he claims that all his fish got velvet and died after a month, and that he has no experience with saltwater predator fish and he "learned his lesson".

Next he starts the tank over. Gets a napoleon wrasse (still trying to find out how since I have NEVER seen one for sale), vlamingi tang, shovelnose shark, blue spotted ribbontail ray, and tesselata moray. Still WAY overstocked, and somehow the fish are still alive.

His most recent update was posted around two weeks ago, he's still got the fish in his 150 but he added a crocodilefish and a brown banded bamboo shark. I stepped up and told him that his fishkeeping practices were cruel, his tank is far too small, and he clearly didn't learn his lesson. His only response is something like "thank you for your opinion, I'm getting a bigger tank in February 2017, be sure to check it out". Same response to every comment.

His recent video is linked below:

I feel terrible for his fish. They're going to be stunted growing up, if they last until February. If you've got a minute of your time, please encourage him to return his fish. Now he's planning on just releasing them in the ocean near Indonesia. Please encourage him not to do this, if you've got a minute or two.

His future tank must be one hell of a project, rivaling most public display. So stupid how people are encouraging him to continue with this. Try to get people on other major marine forums to see this and maybe then once people start flooding the comments, he'll consider making his stocking arrangement much more appropriate for his tank size. So sad how he can capture angelfish that make people's wallets empty themselves, and manage to kill them without a care in the world.

I know, it's a real shame. He must have selective hearing, because he only listens to the people telling him good stuff.

That Firetiger guy is the reason our hobby isn't respected enough. Spreading false information about naming fish, releasing them back to the wild, and then saying anyone who corrects him or Fiki is rude

I'll post something on a saltwater forum when I get home, at dinner right now

Great to see the responses on here. I figured people would just see it as some guy complaining about another guy on the internet, but great to see that people are agreeing.

I wish there was something we could do about it, but other than discourage him from keeping fish (until he matures and realizes that the fish's lives are more important than his entertainment) I don't think we can do anything.

Anyone see the video of his reef tank on there? He's got like three tangs, a clown triggerfish, a dogface puffer, and a bunch of other fish in what appears to be a 29 gallon with a HOB filter. Live corals, of course.

Not only is that terrible,u can probably get him in trouble with the law if he collected those corals himself.

He said that he bought the blacktip reef shark, so he most likely purchased everything else too. Not to mention he lives in Indonesia.

Worth a shot though - I will ask him where he got all of his stuff.

Come to think of it, he hasn't answered my question about the napoleon wrasse, even though I've asked two or three times. That could be a BIG no-no over there, they're heavily protected in most regions. I am going to look into that.

I have never known a napoleons wrasse to be sold anywhere in recent times.
