Anyone seen this guy's videos on YouTube? They're terrible, to say the least. He's some Indonesian guy who has a 150 gallon saltwater tank. Well, let's walk through the history of his tank:
Started out with a blacktip reef shark, coral catshark, blue spotted ribbontail ray, clown triggerfish, undulated triggerfish, blue line triggerfish, emperor angelfish, blueface angelfish, regal angelfish, goldflake angelfish, red sea sailfin tang, foxface, porcupine puffer, and a tesselata moray. ALL in a 150 gallon tank. After this, he claims that all his fish got velvet and died after a month, and that he has no experience with saltwater predator fish and he "learned his lesson".
Next he starts the tank over. Gets a napoleon wrasse (still trying to find out how since I have NEVER seen one for sale), vlamingi tang, shovelnose shark, blue spotted ribbontail ray, and tesselata moray. Still WAY overstocked, and somehow the fish are still alive.
His most recent update was posted around two weeks ago, he's still got the fish in his 150 but he added a crocodilefish and a brown banded bamboo shark. I stepped up and told him that his fishkeeping practices were cruel, his tank is far too small, and he clearly didn't learn his lesson. His only response is something like "thank you for your opinion, I'm getting a bigger tank in February 2017, be sure to check it out". Same response to every comment.
His recent video is linked below:
I feel terrible for his fish. They're going to be stunted growing up, if they last until February. If you've got a minute of your time, please encourage him to return his fish. Now he's planning on just releasing them in the ocean near Indonesia. Please encourage him not to do this, if you've got a minute or two.
