I bought a asian bow front tank the other day and the lady today me it was a 25gallon but it seems smaller it measurements are 13.5x24x24. Anyways I want to do a group of lake T cics, with a natural setting. Could I get some recommendtions on types of rocks ect and fish to use???

Welcome to MFK. 
Don't know too much about Tanganyikans but can give you plenty of advice on Malawi's. You need to make sure your water is correct, Alkaline. Be careful as to what fish you decide to keep as some of the species are more aggressive than the Malawi mbuna. Some of the species should be fed only spirulina based foods as their main diet is algae. These fish have digetive trackts that are much longer than the other fish. Something along the lines of the good old cow, they apparently have 3 or 4 stomach so as to be able to digest the grass they eat.
Post some pics once you have your tank set up.
