how do you fill up your tank, any special methods???

i just fill it straight from the tap even though dont like doing it that way. i dont have much of a choice. :(

if i could do it my way id aerate, declorinate and have it heated before i put it in my tank.

i wanted a poll but i cant figure it out.

I know what youre saying.. its such a risk doing it straight from tap. Unfortunately, due to lack of space, that is what i do. I just use water treatment and let the water back slowly.. it takes me about 1-2 hours ( shorter if im tired ) to fill the tank back up.

TAP!

I use a hose from the tap into the tank, making sure that the temp matches and then add declor as it enters the tank. sumtimes i will add some salt.

Our water system is well water pumped into large aboveground tanks then sent through a $6,ooo,ooo.oo filtration system (which we're still paying for) and finally arrives at our tap. Temp. at this time of year is 84 degrees and the ph is always 7.6. So we just Filler Up!
