  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
we will need some info like how big is the fish what temp is the tank, how big is the tank, what are thr tank mates and have you tested your water?

the fish is 2-3inches long

the tank is 150 liters think thats about 40gals
the temp is about 30c about 80f (at least that what the thermo. says)
the only tank mate is another c. bleheri

havent tested the water. what specific tests, like all tests?

hope this helps.

You have added nothing new? What kind of meds in the baths? Check for foriegn objects in tank and filter and check your ph. If the fish also shows soft looking dark spots or pale cloudy patches on the skin use a commercial med for velvet like acriflavine, if not try a water change and look the things like pennies or a cigarette butt.

thanks for the feedback.

i was surfing on the net, and found this site: pandora's box of something, and from the photos, it looks like cloudy eye.

the film has already seemed to go away partially, but the both still arent eating... i'm almost certain that it's coming from mal nutrition...

it;s strange. they both very active and seemed be have a blast, but htey not eating anything i throw in there. and they eatin all this stuff before: frozen bloodworms, frozen brine shrimp, worms...

it's been about 3 days now, no eating....

Most adult fish can go for weeks not eating without harm.

hi when this has happened to my fish i do a 50% water change and add cooking salt about i kilo it usally does the trick

Hiya peanut! How big is your tank? 1 kilo of non-iodized salt provides enough to treat a 320 liter tank at levels sufficient to cure ich, a specific gravity of 1.0032. That much in a 150 liter seems excessive for many fish though I don't know about the bleheri.
Some sites say that salt works for some cloudy eye type infections and that it should be used as for ich, 2 tsp salt per gallon. Other types of cloudy eye require meds, Marafix for saltwater and Melafix for fresh.
