Oh you mean it removes the chlormine I am sure it does that, but thats a side benifit the main goal of this nutral regulator is to put the pH at 7, and it doesn't.

Haha well I'm sure there are chems that do nothing so atleast it has a positive effect

Its hard to bring a PH down with Hard water. With soft water its easier and the effects last longer but in all actuality with hard water a PH buffer or lowering solution causes a bounce back in 24 hours if it works at all and will PH shock the fish.
