I was wondering are there any filter feeding fish that are easy to keep in the home aquaria and are not illegal and also not african aros are illegal in florida all suggestions would be great also the tank is a 100 gallons and also if you can post a picture of the fish your suggesting plz and thank you??

Not a fish, but freshwater clams and mussels filter feed, I don’t think there are any species or at least in the hobby that are small and filter feed. Unless you get a pond, paddlefish filterfeed.

I mean they dont have to be small also the paddlefish ill wait until i get my zoo in a lot more years going.

Fish in the family Engraulidae (anchovy-like fish) are all (or most?) filter feeders. Mostly marine, a few species are found in estuarine waters, and some even in full freshwater.

Not to sound rude but instead of making another post u can continue on ur other one?
no i know just this one is for me too keep as a pet the other one is for in general also i will like too keep a species of filter feeder in my aquarium
