Exactly the same with my SunSun. You can't tell it's on except for the little light indicator telling you that the UV indicator is on.
Thanks a lot. I'll look into it. It's made In china right

I love my eheim. It does its job well, and it does it silently. I liked their filters so much I bought and eheim heater and aerator. Both have been better than what I've used previously.
lol lol yep.
Wonderful brand
I may try the heater

Good morning my fellow fish lovers
Next month I'm planning to upgrade to a 75G
Does anyone reccomed a a certain filter
I currently have a eheim Ecco pro 2236
195 GPH
I was thinking about maybe a marineland or fuval
Is it true I need two filters on 75G instead of one
Thanks in advance
Hi Rose here. I'm new too. In reply to your enquiry. I have used the Filstar xP4 Canister Filter on a 75 gal for years. I loved and still love it but it's not enough for my needs. It says for aquariums, up to 265-gallons. But I have large to very large koi. And it taxes the system. A couple of years ago I got my first sunsun with uv. I am enthralled! So much so that I got two more SunSun-HW-304B 5-Stage 525 GPH for my other two 75s in January. And will likely get a smaller one for my 55 gal before fall. Why do I adore it? It's sooo quiet! It has a venturi adaption. It has UV sterilization. Quick shutoff for cleaning. And tons of room for extra media. I have 7,8 and 9 koi pretty much arranged to equal out fish inchs divided among in the three 75 gal tanks. The koi are happy healthy and vibrant. Water quality stays beautiful. And I only have to clean around every 5-6 wks. The sunsuns value is awesome. Works better than the xP4 is quieter and has UV. Just MHO... Good luck. 20161230_2123571.jpg
