ok basically i have this sort of filter built into one of my tanks and i've been extremely impressed with it.
basically it works by a pump (big thing in corner) pulling water out of the top of the tank, and running it through a spray bar, and allowing it to trickle down through a heap of filter media, run down the bottom of the filter to the other end, and back into the tank.... (the whole thing goes onto the top of the tank)
anyways, i was looking at building one onto a tank build i'm planning, any problems i might run into (still working out designs, planning to have the tank between 6ft-8ft long, and have the filter running across the entire back of it...)
if anyones built a filter like this please give me a hand...
