I was worried about weight but now not in the least. I will post pics when tank is running with fish.

Thanks again

The shorter glass on the side is actually stronger than the longer glass on the back, structurally speaking.

Looking forward to pics!

:iagree:

If you've seen an aquarium that bows out, its the long sides that flex, not the ends.

side of the tank works great

Its better to hang them on the side!
Agreed. It will circulate the Whole tank.

The filter on tank side works great the current as everyone said is real nice. Tank is only 3 ft long thus the Emperor 280 works well.

It would be a great set up for darters . I only have ghost shrimps in it now .

Adding more driftwood this weekend than probably going with rainbow cichlid pair .
The light is just energy saver coil type bulb 13 watts = 60 watts light and not sure if will keep that or buy 30 inch light fixture

Thanks again everyone.

Should be fine. I've always run multiple HOBS if thats the only filtration on a tank, helps with deadspots. You can also make use of a powerhead.

Yes it works fine my concern was side glass of tank not holding filter weight but its a zero issue.

To bad to warm here for darters as for them would be neat.
