you never really said what was wrong?poor water quaity? one thing i would do is extend the pick down more.

ill do a filter change and about a week later its smells. its just poor filtration. and it being so deep isnt helping
its a cash problem this month. budgets a tad tight. next month im upgrading. maybe ill build a w/d.
If your Whisper isn't pumping enough water, make sure the flow control is pointing towards the aquarium and if that doesn't help, remove the WonderTube and clean it and the impeller with a filter brush. Take the motor off the bottom and use a cotton swab to clean out all of the gunk. You can modify Bio Wheels to fit this model. It uses the 125 bio wheels and then you have to get paper clips to hang it on there. It is kinda hard to get the bio wheels just right, but be patient and work with it. Oh, and when you reattach the motor, make sure you wet the O-Ring with water or a water-based personal lube.
