Well my mag350 is starting to breakdown and finally i get to shop for a new filter. My pet store carries the 05 series fluvals(no fx5, its like 500-600 bucks here) and rena xps and im pretty sure they carry those new canisters by marineland, i think there called the c-series or something. So any positive/negative feedback about these filters would be great aswell as what you would pick. tanks a 50g btw;

I have heard good things about the Rena XP series. I'd shop online to get a good price. LFS are OK for the smaller items but the high $$ stuff do some shopping!
I have a fluval 405 and I love it. Its a great filter for a 55 gallon tank. I've heard a lot of good things about the XP series as well. You won't go wrong with either one.

I love the XP series for sure. But to be honest, I havent really come across a "bad" filter if its loaded properly to its capabilities
I have the Rena XP4 on my 90 and the flow seems to be pretty descent. Only been up and running for about 5 days now though.
I've digging through website and have found a couple wholesalers of canister filters...seen the marineland 360 for $35...but you have to order at least 30..does any one have this filter..or know about the brand would appreciate and input.
