filter set up

I decided that I am going to go with Modular filters ocean clear 317 Polystrand Triple Micron Filter, to a 318 Polystrand 50 Micron Bio-Filter , to a 320 Activated Carbon Bio Filter, to a Little Giant 3-MDQ-SC

this is for a 135g what do you guys think good set up not I am looking for some info from you guys

Personally Im not sure but for some reason people on here do not like carbon at all. The mere mention of it sends some into an uncontrolled rage. I use it to keep the water clear in my XP3's.

ya I know some of my tanks don't have any because I put stuff in the water that the carbin will remove but on the tanks where I don't add any thing to the water I use it for the super clear water

i removed mine and didnt notice any difference in my water it is still very clear some people use it and like it some dont its all personal choice some people say it can cause hith in some cichlids

your filter sounds good

How did this setup work for you VG ?

I am thinking of going with a 317 or 319 followed by a 340 then to a UV Sterilizer.

I'm still looking at pumps and would be interested to hear what pump you are using and how it is working out.
