While researching the Supreme Mag Drive, I came across this.

2) What is my desired turnover rate in GPH?

3x total volume for wet/dry = 3 * 125G = 375GPH, or​

10x total volume for wet sump = 10 * 125G = 1250GPH​

For our purposes, I'm going to assume you'd like a wet/dry filter and we'll work with the ~375GPH number for now​

What's the difference between a wet sump and a wet/dry setup?

I'm going to do a 125 with what I think is a sump, but my stand is barely tall enough for a 55 sump. I would have to take the 125 off the stand to service the sump, I'm thinking that's not good.

What size sump would be a minimum for a 125 cichlid tank?
