I have seen all the talk about pothos and their ability to absorb nitrates so I got a cutting from a friend at work. I will have to ask her the variety. I forgot already. Here goes...

good luck.. it LOOKS HEALTHY .. but I dont know if cuttings will work w/o roots:popcorn:

Is it only floating on the surface or did you stick it in the gravel?

I used cuttings from my moms pothos she had and its growing fast and rather long. There was no roots initially and about 1.5 to 2 weeks they grow roots and start growing like weeds. And also forgot to mention they are just floating in the tank I did use some egg crate to support the plant but thats it.

I have had cuttings from these before but never placed them in my tanks. I have rooted them in vase with water. If you have a joint(not sure of the correct term) placed in water, it will put out roots.

I hung the leaves over the edges of the tank and glass cover so only a small portion of the stem containing joints was under water. Hope that helps.
