you can also try to use powerhead to keep all the poop suspended in water column, and hope eventually they will get pick up by your filter.

okay but what is a water column and does the power head run by its self or does it need to be hooked to some sort of canister?

Okay so tomorrw im going to get another penguin 300 70g so ill have 2 of them and a 10g filter for water movement, and also a powerhead, what do you guys think... think thats good, were do you place powerheads tho in the tank exactly

Powerheads are pumps that you put in the tank that help with circulation and P's love them, as they are used to swimming against currents in rivers. They are usually placed on the end of the aquarium. Put it on the opposite side of your filter. I have mine about 6 inches off the bottom.

what I meant was use the power head to blow the poop off the bottom and keep them floating around in the water and hope eventually they'll get suck in by the filters.

okay so place it at the bottom kinda and blow the poopy around, okay so what im asking is they dont have to hook up to your filter or anything do they? also are plastic plants as good as live, dont wanna use live cuz then its a pain to clean it

No power heads are stand alone systems think of them as the motor in your filter they just move the water don't place it directly on the bottome of your tank especily if you are using sand as it can get in anddamage the pump. I put mine bout half way down the side glass or back glass its up to you where to place it. Walmart carrys powerheads here they are like 20 25$ not to pricy but there is no substatue for quality.

There are all kinds of powerheads, from expensive wave maker systems for reefs to cheap ones designed for use with protien skimmers and UGF's (under gravel filtration).
They come in different shapes, sizes, gph's,and mounting types; from ones that look like fans mounted in the water to mini jets that hang on the back. A 75 gal tank isn't that deep, wide, or long. If it were me I'd go with the hang on Marineland esp. since poop seems to be an issue in question. These jets have a flap at the outtake it can face up or down. I would go up for increased surface aggitation. The gas exchange generally takes place at the surface thru movement, nitra out - oxygen in. The majority of the tanks dissolved oxygen comes from the atmosphere by this method. The Marineland powerheads also have an attachable fine particle filter sold seperate or with the model 60 in combo. This will help draw up the poop and trap it. The filter more than likely won't solve excess poop issues, gravel vaccumming as needed will. The marinelands also have an adjustable air intake valve system that forces atmospheric air into the water which can help greatly to increase dissolved O2 into the tank. If you were to prefer current within the tank for O2 circulation Koralia makes some good fan type heads.
