Im running a xp4, cfs 500, and a small sump on my 125g. Xp filters are decent filters but I use them more as supplemental filters than as a main filter because they don't turn over a lot of water. In that aspect the 55/75 and ac110 are superior because they turn over a lot of water. The advantage of the xp filters is that they have a lot of space for media to customize them to your setup. I would get rid of the ac70, and run the 55/75, and ac110 with the xp3. Also Rena makes super micron filter pads for the xp filters that work great imo for filtering and polishing your water.

Are you doing enough water changes, your parameters could be off with big bioload. Ie: around 30-50% a week
Yes. Deffinately keeping up with the water changes. It still looks cloudy and just I feel like the 55/75 quiet Flow just doesn't Do the trick. I guess I got so used to having just aqua clears over the years and never having issues with my water lol.
Sunsun is ok, but this depends on what/how much bio media you put into the trays. Odyssea has great flow if you don't do any modification to the stock sponge media. The Odyssea is a copy of the FX design
Rena xp4 if on budget. FX6 if you wanna spend more. Eheim 2262 if you have money to burn. 3 three canisters are well made, do not leak, and last long.
I have a 125, and I had problems with cloudy water, messy water, lots of floaties, etc. I finally got fed up with it all, and I put an Eheim 2262 on it. It was expensive, it was WAY too big for the tank, but I have clean water now.

lol good to hear that filter helped you out! I still haven't bought anything yet. Once them income tax returns come i'll have a better idea
Biggest problem with Eheims IMO: price of replacement parts. An impeller was costing me upwards of $40 (until I found one online for $12)
+1 except I'd ditch the 55/75. Don't get me wrong, I own 3 of them and they are awesome HOBs for the price, but AC just can't be beat...keep the two AC's on there, and scoop up a cheap canister, any of the ones mentioned are great, I'm personally using an FX6 but thats because PETCO ran a stupid great deal on them and I got one for like 150 bucks off the regular price. Throw in some Purigen in one of the trays and I bet your water clears in a weeks time easy.
