filteration question?

Ok i think i got the whole wet/dry thing with a sump down tell me what i did wrong thistime?

red=pipes
blue=filter pads and ****
green=pump

that bottom part is the sump than the stand than the tank

what did i do wrong or would this work? and if it did work how well?

thats kind of a 2 way design but sure it will work great. you really need to see a wd in action. where in fl are ya??
