I use a cascade 1200 canister and a cascade 600 internal on my 120 tall and they keep the water crystal clear. Plus the are more on the affordable side. I paid $100 for the 1200 and $30 for the 600.

i bought a canister filter well the brand is something else i couldn't find the good products i guess this is because srilanka does not import all the the good products and stuff. i could have ordered one from eBay but this would have been expensive when you count the shipping. i removed the sponge filter water seems to be clearing up now
