filters?

I have been using 2 AquaClear 70's on my 55 gallon salt tank and have had very little trouble at all. I have to rinse it more than my fresh of course due to some sand getting up in it but overall and very satisfied..

preety much any would work, a good power filter would be best, or a canister if the intake is closer to the top, i'd do an aqua clear, there cheap and get the job done.

my filter keeps filling up with sand and has started making lots of racket it seems to be to much curent just looking for sugestions befor i go spend some money.

What filter are you running and how far off the bottom is the intake?
Is your sand getting kicked up a lot?
Depending on the conditions, you could keep running into the same problem if you repeat the setup with a different filter.

its a wisper filter got it with the tank got 2 power heads to keep the water moveing not much sand whats left of two small bags.

is it possible that the powerheads, may be stirring up the sand at all, if so that could be a problem.
