I have gotten great results out of my XPs. They keep on churning. (Except for when you run sand through them. Oops!)
On my 125 I am running two ac110s, a xp3, and a wet dry filtration unit. Like someone said you can never have enough filtration, and this way if one or two filters break simutaneously (freak occurance for sure) you can get by without it until your able to replace it.
The local fish stores here dont carry the eheim all they carry is fluval or renas if i go to permsmart or petco all they had were canisters for 100 on eheims so i went and got two xp3s instead Im looking into the power of eheim and see what the hype is about money is not the problem for me its more of availability. i hate to wait for anything so i just got it because that was what was available a month after i got them i saw xp4s available kinda mad now =[
