Filtration for 180G - single Oscar

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Thanks Squirtle, most of my aquarium stuff I got from Age of Aquariums, love the flat shipping fee cause I looked at a site for a new test kit and they wanted $15 just to ship a kit!!

CaymanMoon, the problem with buying from the US is that a $50 filter might cost $70 or more to ship here - then there's the issue of having to buy a power converter because we run on 240 volts, not 110.

See, I told you I am often wrong lol. That really sucks! About the cost for you guys, not me being wrong lol, I'm used to that. Hopefully you are able to find an affordable one!

It sucks buying stuff in Australia, products should be the same price here as they are in the US as the dollar is the same if not better most of the time.

Yup, for power plugs we can use euro sites but for freshwater theres no use. I got a bit of my saltwater stuff half price pretty much shipped here my LFS owner got a bit ****y and gave me the whole when it breaks talk BUT I could of got 3 for the price of 1 here inc shipping, so just look around sometimes it is worth it sometimes its not.

anyways hope they give you some help. Ben is good at age of aquariums, he helped me setup most of my fish room in terms of being able to buy the equipment when I didnt have much spare $.

I would just get a eheim and otto off him, check the prices @ the reef shop etc then email them if its cheaper then they will beat it for you. 2215-2217 and a 2000 LPH otto will be more then enough for a full grown oscar. Eheim mainly for bio and the otto will be enough to handle the mech.
