filtration for 180g?

1 arowana (idk which yet)
3x bichirs , ornate , delhezi , endli
1 moto ray
1-2 widebar OR pbass (mono or tem)

I would recommend a wet/dry (DIY to save some money) and a good canister.

I agree, once you get into that much water you almost have to go with wet/dry so you have an abundance of the bacteria colony. And cannister filters are very good on their own,so as a second filter with the wet/dry you'll have crystal clear water.

yeah with all those fish go for as much filtration as possible, especially with the ray.

with my 260 i use a sump and a FX5.

oh and for the Aro, your only choice would be a silver, jars are too aggressive and Asians are illegal in the states...

I use a Wet Dry Proclear 175 and a Fluval FX5 for my 180 and i have alot of big fish.

I have heard they can be worse then jars but generally pretty docile...
