Just one quick piece of advice, make sure that you build the 40 gallon sump so that it will have room for all of the extra water from the tank when the power goes out or when you perform maintenance.

thanks for the advice everyone,i found a 60 gallon rubbermaid tube i am going to switch out for the 40 gallon sump(cheap at wal-mart)and as for stocking i tried to find pearsei and argentea no one had them,but i will be on the look out for some i am also trying to find blackbar silver dollars if anyone knows where i can get them,so i guess my list is alright i might add a blue phantom pleco to the list but that is in the future.
Try Ken Davis at the Fish Farm, he should have the cichlids you are looking for. I received a beautiful Persei from him a month ago.
