Filtration for 300 gal?

The eheim 2260 does 500gph and up to 400gallons. Fx5 are great filters too but they dont even hold close to the amount of media the eheim 2260 holds. I think 2 fx5 would be enough filtration for the 300 depending on the stock.

Also with that code you can get a xp3 for 109.99 (reg 169.99). So you could get 4 xp3s for the price of 2 eheims. I dont know if that would hold more media total or not....just an idea. I am going to use 2 xp3's on my 240 but im also going to use a sump with it.
