Filtration for 300 gallong 96(L)X30(h)x24(w)

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I have a 55 gallon wet/dry and two eheim 2262 on my 300. Works great. Had two eheims and one fx5 on the same tank and still wasnt satisfied. Wet/dry are awesome and so easy to make. And trust me I am no handyman. Took me less that a day to make it

Never found tht dimension tank but I have the filters ready. When the opportunity arises I will surely hop on the opportunity to seize the 300 gallon tank, with the tank I would run 2fx5 and 1 sump. the sock idea is great but I had to clean the sock every week, or let it overflow. which defeats the purpose. My sump, I run a few layers of matts and tht keeps my water Krystal clear.

I have a 240, 8' x 2' x 2'. Pretty much same footprint as your tank. I use a 55 gallon sump powered by a Mag 18 and two fx5's (one with a turbo twist 36watt attached), keeps the water super clean.

I have a 300 filtered by a 75 gallon sump with 2 Q1 6000's. 100 micron and 50 micron socks. Takes less than 3 minutes to change the socks and being that the pumps are submersible, there's no drilling. Easiest tank I've ever setup
