Filtration for 75g

Ya cause it worred me all the time. I never felt comfortable with it.

I use the bio wheel 400 and a rena xp3 on my 75 gallon. Works very well.
I also do not like the AC110 two piece design. I would get a Rena XP3 or Fluval if you can afford. While generic brand canisters will work fine up to about a year but most reviews I have read is that they last no more than 2 years. If you plan on getting expensive fish and overstock then you might want to reconsider your choice of filter. That's like driving with cheap no name brand tires. They work and do the job but they don't last. Plus, your risk of a blowout is much higher and risk of killing yourself.
 
Xp3 are on sale at drfosterandsmith for $110 and AC70 for $20 at bigal's. You could have put 2 AC70 for less than half the price of a AC110.
