I was going to get a 180g tank and was going to put some real monsters in there:

4 ocelli peacock bass
1 juruense catfish
2 oscars
1 Cincta pike cichlid

and i need to setup a nice filtration system, can you guys give me any ideas?

I am doing the same thing. I just picked up a used 180 gallon tank yesterday. I am going to turn my 75 into a diy wet/dry and refugium in about a month.

o alright ya i never thought about it could a 67g be turned into a wet/dry and refugium, which i have no clue what that is?

I would do 2 emperor400's and a fx5 canister. Or you could do some ac110's but there has been alot of talk lately about there pumps burning up and they do not want to start up after WC's

usually the most expensive part of the wet/dry is the sump and the pump. if you already have a spare tank, youre halfway there.

you can definately set one up for under $100 including the cost of the sump.

:iagree:
a little money and some handy work can save you hundreds

All you need is an Eheim 2260

2262 if you want to go all out
