Filtration for a crowded 46 gallon tank

What's everyone's take on the Maineland Magnum 350 Pro?

Also, what if I turned my 10 gallon tank into a diy wet/dry like I did with my 75 gallon wet/dry? Wet/Dry's are fairly noisy though. I would have a 500 gph flow rate if I did my own sump combined with a Quiet One 2200 and an overflow box?

The Magnum 350 does not do much at all for bio, but the added bio wheel does very well. With the exodons, you will have more need for bio than mechanical filtration. Instead of blowing the money on the 350 pro, spend less and get an emperor 400 (2 bio wheels) for more bio. Team it up with an AC110 and you have a great combo.

I only have AC's but from reading these posts it kinda seems to be personal opinion. So why not go with one AC and one emperor? Best of both worlds. With all the filters you have I personally would'nt spend more $$ on another if you already have those not being used.

i'd say use filters you already have. use a 280 and an ac110 and i think you'll be good.

Thanks everyone. I think I will use my Aquaclear 110's with prefilters or with the surface skimmer attachments I have for them. Those attachments will slow the gph down some so that should be good. 1000 gph on that tank is overkill.
