Filtration help for 150 gallon tank

I have another question, Dr. Joe. For the pump in the sump (heehee it rhymes), will a mag-drive 7 work? I looked at the head of it and it does 450gph at about 6'. (the 6' is the length that it has to pump up right?)

What is the official use of the mag 7?

Correct...6ft head is the height it's pumping up to.

The mag 7 will give you a 3x turnover, low for your bio-load.

Mag 9.5 (800gph@6ft) will get you almost 5x...better. And for only $18 more http://www.aquacrylics.com/.
